Happy Thanksgiving

Wow...how to start. Thanksgiving is one of the greatest, non-selfish, loving holidays. There is no materialism attached to it--no presents, Hallmark does not dominate the day, and it's all about telling the people you love how much they mean to you... So here is my declaration--I am thankful for all of my family and friends. I cannot imagine my life without you, and I feel so blessed to have health and love all around me.

Holidays away from family and friends back home has been difficult, and Thanksgiving certainly is no exception. However, with the help of our friends here and a lovely dinner, I missed everyone just a little bit less...

I decided a few weeks ago that I wasn't going to just let Thanksgiving come and go, feeling sorry for myself and wishing I were in Mexico, Montana, Arizona, or Ohio...like I did last year. I invited some of our closest friends here and made a feast of food! Turkey is hard to come by, so I made a yummy cranberry stuffed chicken dish instead. Here are some pictures:
